Call for Papers or Extended Abstracts

The Área de Empleo, Distribución e Instituciones Laboral (EDIL) of the Instituto Interdisciplinario de Economía Política (IIEP, UBA-CONICET) and the International Labour Organization (ILO) are pleased to announce the III International Conference “Labour Transitions and Income Dynamics in Latin America”, to be held at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina, on 5-6 December 2024.
We invite the submission of papers or extended abstracts (at least 2000 words) on the following topics – or other closely related topics – for Latin American countries:
Labor Transitions / Occupational Turnover
Income Instability and Insecurity
Poverty Dynamics
Income Mobility (Life Cycle, Intergenerational Mobility)

Papers and presentations can be in Spanish or English.

The conference will be held in person and is free of charge.
Participants will be responsible for their own travel and accommodation expenses in Buenos Aires.

Important Dates

Submission deadline for papers/extended abstracts: September 15, 2024.
Notification of acceptance: October 15, 2024
